to start, let's look at the source code one last time.

so we need to add the word value of every answer so far together...
thankfully there's a tool for that!

adding each one up gives us a total of 1054.
though, going to 1054.png reveals there's more to this part...

combining the hints for asteroid and object number, we find out it's name on wikipedia: forsytia!

so next image is forsytia.png!

there's technically a little easter egg if you accidentally type forsythia.png:

by the way the symbol in the middle is "nuosu (yi)" written in yi script.

anyways, we need to brighten up a little... of course!
this is a hint for brightening up the image!

this reveals a string of text, revealing the names of letters written in yi (if the syllabary hint and symbol in the middle weren't enough...)

TRANSCRIPTION: hxop top half, zzyr, hxit top half, zhuop, tu, lyr, zziet, zhyr, hlu, ggop bottom half

transcribing the yi text and focusing on the top-half marks, we get: mangosteen.

i don't think anyone's used these in a weekly before that i know of, but these are military time zone degrees.
just a simple calm puzzle before i end up launching a wave of recap in your face again >:)

anyways, these time zones are labeled with NATO phonetic alphabet letters, so decoding those gives us the answer: marvel.

172.5 E / 180 = Mike Time Zone
7.5 E / 22.5 E = Alfa Time Zone
67.5 W / 82.5 W = Romeo Time Zone
142.5 W / 157.5 W = Victor Time Zone
67.5 E / 82.5 E = Echo Time Zone
